Three people have died after a teen gunman opened fire at a popular shopping centre in Thailand.

Gunshots are believed to have come from a toilet on the ground floor of the busy Siam Paragon mall.

Police have been pictured tackling the alleged gunman – believed to be a minor – to the ground and arresting him. Two people have also been left injured.

Other shoppers are believed to have taken shelter inside other shops inside the building as hundreds fled the scene and warned locals of the incident.

Writing on X/Twitter, one user said: “There’s a shooting incident in Siam Paragon. To anyone going or planning to go there, please avoid it at this moment. Stay safe everyone.”
