Princess Kate and Prince William thought the South Park episode that mocked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was “hilarious”, according to a new book on the Royal Family.
The episode of the cult TV show was broadcast back in February, and it mercilessly ripped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for what it claimed was their hypocrisy over privacy.
Although the cartoon featured the fictional Prince and Princess of Canada, the characters were clearly parodies of Harry and Meghan.

They’d moved to South Park so they could get away from the spotlight, but once they were there they set about bringing attention to themselves on their “worldwide privacy tour”.
The episode divided opinions between fans of the Sussexes and their critics, but now a book about the Royal Family suggests that William and Kate thought it was very funny.
The claim is made in Endgame, which has been written by author Omid Scobie, who’s known to have been close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. A copy of the book has been leaked to The Sun.

When the show was broadcast, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline: “Harry and Meghan are obsessed with being in control of the narrative, and we've recently seen them attack the Royal Family over a period of weeks when they knew the response would be silence.
“They should, however, be very concerned that their standing in America seems to be changing.”
Richard believed that Kyle “speaks for millions” when he says: “It’s seriously driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them. I can’t get away from them.”
After the show was broadcast, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan issued a statement denying they were considering legal action against the team behind South Park, describing the claims as “baseless and boring”.
