Marriott San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf hotel description>>
Some good, some bad
For location, convenience and Marriott service, I'd stay here. We were here for part of our honeymoon and were on Marriott points. Because of that we got free the breakfast buffet they serve during the week. The food was good and the staff very attentive. The wharf, cable cars, shopping etc. are all within walking distance, so it's a great location. The rooms are small and our window wistled loudly. They were working on the roof one day for most of the day. It sounded like someone was going to come crashing through. Not very romantic, but made for a few good laughs. I'd recommend it for it's location, but not if you're looking for luxuriously large rooms.
Great Little Hotel
This was a wonderful hotel, just a block or two from Fisherman's Wharf. The lobby and bar area were lovely, the staff friendly and accommodating. The conceierge was fantastic, with great tips on transportation and where to eat. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel anywhere. The food in the lounge and restuarant was a little pricey, but that isn't unexpected. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and only $6.95 for children 18 and under. The business centre wasn't busy in the evening, and my teens were able to check their email at no cost. I was also able to go online in the business center to get driving directions when our plans changed. I would heartily recommend this hotel to business travellers and families, and would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to San Francisco.
Jsut returned from San Francisco. Our stay at the Marriott on Fisherman's Wharf was great. From the clean room to friendly concierges, our every request was met quickly and with a smile. I would stay there again. We did not eat at the hotel as some local diners were within walking distance. We had a great internet rate and were treated like a King and Queen.
