A twisted cannibal killer murdered his Grindr date by slitting his throat and eating his testicles in a nauseating Christmas killing.

Two years ago, on Christmas Day, Kevin Bacon, 25, was reported missing after he went missing the night before.

His roommate Michelle Myer told police Bacon went to meet a man on Christmas Eve after they connected through Grindr, according to Fox News.

But the missing hairstylist would never be seen alive again.

Investigators searched for days and a tip eventually led them to Mark Latunski's house in Morrice, in Shiawassee County, where he was found brutally murdered.

His body was found hanging by his ankles upside down from the rafters of Latunski's property, Kevin's parents, Karl and Pam Bacon, learned from court documents.

Kevin’s father, Karl Bacon, told local Michigan radio station “Evil does exist, and it touched us. He obviously got into something he wasn’t prepared for.

“We all make mistakes. It’s gut-wrenching to hear the details, and we’re just beside ourselves.

“For those who knew and loved Kevin did not know that side. Those who knew him knew his good side. He loved and cherished everyone he touched and he touched a lot of lives in the past, during his short life."

Referring to evidence presented in court documents, Karl added: "What was released today shows Kevin had a dark side."

The 50-year-old then reportedly admitted to officers he had also used the murder weapon to cut off Bacon's testicles and later ate them as part of a sickening fetish, police documents reveal.

Mark D. Latunski was found competent for trial in October 2020.

He was briefly hospitalised in February this year after being found unresponsive at the Shiawassee County Jail for not eating.

Since reports of the case emerged, there has been speculation over whether Bacon's death could have been prevented as a neighbour, Michael Parks may have saved other men from meeting the same fate.

A man allegedly knocked on his door in November 2020, covered in blood.

Michigan State Police arrived within minutes and took the bleeding man with them but no charges were ever filed against Latunski for that incident.
