A cat named John was left seriously confused after trying to attack a spider – not realising it had been drawn on a page by its owner.
The funny Reddit video shows the feline desperately pawing at the spider drawing on a notepad.
He starts by using his left claw but changes to his right when the tactics don’t work.
John even tries to bite the pesky drawing but – obviously – that doesn’t work either.
Eventually, the baffled cat resorts to a good old evil stare before the clip comes to an end.
The video has received a whopping 23,000 upvotes since being shared on the social media site this morning.
