Child killer Roy Whiting stabbed in jail by two lags and left in ‘pool of blood’

Twisted child killer Roy Whiting has reportedly been attacked in his prison cell by two inmates with makeshift blades.

The 61-year-old monster – who is serving at least 40 years for the murder of eight-year-old Sarah Payne – was set upon at Wakefield prison in Yorkshire, known as Monster Mansion.

He was punched and kicked in the face before being stabbed in the upper body on November 8, 2018.

Whiting was in respiratory arrest and a nurse had to insert a tube to give him an airway, The Sun reports.

He was then taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he received emergency treatment.

Shocking photographs show bruising to Whiting's left eye and blood splattered across his face.

Convicted murderers Richard Prendergast and Kevin Hyden, both 40, admitted a Section 18 wounding with intent via video link at Leeds Crown Court.

Whiting said they shouted “you f***ing nonce” after coming into his cell.

He added: “I couldn’t feel the pain due to my adrenalin. After about three seconds I fell to the floor.

“I was then on the floor trying to defend myself. I was trying to kick out with my legs to defend myself."

Whiting continued: “One of the males then attacked me again so I crawled under my bed for protection from the assault.

"I looked down at the floor and I was laid in a pool of my own blood. It was everywhere.”

In 2015, Hyden was jailed for life after being found guilty of the “brutal” murder of Davinia Loynton, 59.

She was found dead at her flat in Shropshire after suffering from head injuries and a stab wound to her neck.
