A dad has been accused of killing his six-month-old baby and her sister, before turning a gun on himself.
The bodies of Amyah Engleman, two, and Caraline Engleman, six months, were found in the garden of a home in Texas.
Kyle Brandon Grieb is suspected of killing the girls before shooting himself – his body was also found nearby.
The 30-year-old had spent the night at the girls' home, according to their mum, Halie Engleman.
She claims he had told her he was going to take the girls.
Upon waking up the next morning, Halie could not find the girls and asked Grieb where they were.
He pointed to the bathroom, however they were not there, according to Hays Free Press.
As the mum went out to search for the two kids, Grieb was gone.
Halie then called the police who arrived at around 10:10am – while speaking to them, a family member was allegedly heard saying "there’s a body out there.”
The bodies of the girls were found under the tarp, along with Grieb with "obvious gunshot wounds to the head.”
Dad who shot his kids dead had been told to leave wife’s yoga class for being creepy
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
A GoFundMe page has been set up titled "Help Engleman family rebuild after tragic loss."
It says: "The lives of 2 year old Amyah and 6 month old Caraline Engleman were taken from us on August 27, 2020.
"Amyah and Caraline's father took their lives before taking his own life.
"With grace, their mother, Halie Marie Engleman, will continue to support and love her surviving two children, 6 year old Evelyn and 4 year old Melody.
"We respectfully request the prayers, love and support of the Hays county community in supporting this family as they prepare for their new lives.
"All funds collected will be used toward assisting Halie in obtaining a vehicle for transportation, a home to reside in, fulfilling her desired career path, child care and generally restarting their lives."
Halie is the mother of four girls, it is thought Grieb was the father of the two youngest.
