More rain and thunderstorms could come to Denver Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
A slight chance of showers between 1 and 4 p.m. will be followed by a slight chance of thunderstorms and rain after 4 p.m. Winds are expected to reach between 5 and 10 mph, gusting up to 16 mph, while the temperature reaches a high of 65 degrees.
Fog is expected to sit over the eastern plains and northern foothills this morning, followed by rain in the afternoon. Precipitation is forecast to come to the northern plains by Tuesday evening, with snow coming to the northern mountains overnight, the weather service said.
Rain and storms are likely to continue through Wednesday night, with partly sunny weather reaching a high of 56 degrees.
Thursday is expected to bring a chance of showers in the morning and evening during a partly sunny day reaching 66 degrees.
Sunny, warm weather is expected to return for Friday and Saturday, with highs of 81 and 85 degrees.
