A disabled man who collects baby dolls has issued a plea to cruel bullies who have branded him a “pervert”.
Tim Foers, who has Cerebral Palsy, says his dolls are the closest thing he can get to being a father.
The Rotherham Reborn collector so far has 70 lifelike dolls and is often seen with one when in public.
However, Tim has been the victim of bullies both online and in person with people branding him a “freak” and a “pervert”.
He has also been hit with cruel insults suggesting her uses them as sex dolls, as reported by Yorkshire Live.
“People need to know that it’s not illegal what I’m doing and there is obviously a valid reason as to why I collect them,” said Tim.
“I’ve always wanted to be a father-like figure.”
Tim first started collecting the Reborn Dolls back in 2017 and has continued to grow his range of dolls ever since, naming every one of them.

His first experience with dolls came when he was a child because toys that made “bang” sounds would frighten him.
Tim also found butting up studs on baby vests also helped aid his painful spasms in his hands.
He says the dolls bring back fond memories from his childhood and from when he worked with children at a school he volunteered at.

Tim is now determined to let the bullies he meets on social media and in town win by sharing his story online.
He has been posting on local Facebook posts to introduce himself and to tell them not to be alarmed if they spot him out with one of his dolls.
Tim said: “My aim in life is to stop people judging me before finding out my reason.”

He has also now launched a website detailing his collection of dolls as well as documenting the everyday journeys he takes them on, including trips to Tesco’s, the Post Office and the Cancer Research Shop.
Tim also posts about his positive experiences of meeting people while he is out in town and getting people to take a photo of him and his dolls.
