A packed easyJet flight with 100 people onboard has been forced to make an emergency landing after the pilot fell ill.
The aircraft managed to touch down in the Algarve, Portugal, after the co-pilot took over the controls.
It had taken off from London Gatwick just after 6.30am this morning (Friday, April 21).

It was bound for Agadir in Morocco and scheduled to land there at 9:25am local time.
However, the 100 panicked passengers and crew members eventually found themselves at an airport in Faro.
According to online flight trackers, the Airbus A320 was diverted following a mid-air alert.
Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha has cited a Faro airport source as saying the change of plans came after the pilot suffered an “indisposition”.
According to the source, a red alert was issued while the plane was still in the sky, meaning that the co-pilot had to take over and land.
It is not clear what time the passengers will make it to Morocco, or how easyJet plan on getting them there.
It has also not been confirmed whether the pilot is in a suitable condition to continue the journey, or if he has been taken to a local hospital.
