'Fatalities' have been reported after a shooting at a shopping mall in Denmark's capital Copenhagen, it has been claimed.
Police in the city confirmed they were present at Field's Mall after receiving reports of shootings with onlookers reported people being killed with a semi-automatic weapon.
Several people have reportedly been hit by gunshots as panic spread through the crowd while shoppers were evacuated.
One eyewitness, who was due to attend a concert nearby, said: "Shooting in shopping centre next to venue. Fatalities. Semi-automatic. We were about 100m away. Out now & away & safe."
Another witness, who recorded a video on social media, said a young girl was among those hit, adding that he fears "she didn't make it".
As the incident unfolded this evening (Sunday, July 3), Copenhagen Police tweeted: "We are present in large numbers and massively at Fields, where we have received reports of shootings. We will update here as soon as we have more about the current situation"
They later wrote that one person was arrested in connection with the incident.
