Ghislaine Maxwell’s, 60, legal team are aiming to obtain a new trial after it was revealed a juror may not have disclosed sexual abuse during the jury selection, it is alleged.
In a letter to the court, the former British socialite’s lawyers wrote they had filed Maxwell’s “motion for a New Trial … and accompanying exhibits under seal”.
The lawyers wrote: “For the reasons set forth in the Motion, we request that all submissions pertaining to Juror No. 50 remain under seal until the Court rules on the Motion.”
