A mum was horrified after discovering a replica sex doll of her eight-year-old daughter being sold on Amazon.
Terri, who asked reporters to only use her first name to protect her daughter's identity, says that a friend messaged her to say they had seen the “high quality sexy dolly” that bore an uncanny resemblance to her daughter Kat being sold online for $559 (£420).
The mum, from Florida in the US, started to cry after seeing the image.
She told anti-sex abuse group the Child Rescue Coalition: "I couldn't imagine that some sicko would use my daughter's photo to create something so ugly and evil to be used for abuse by paedophiles."

Terri says the resemblance couldn’t just be a coincidence.
She told local news channel NBC6: “I knew it right away. I knew it the one site, I saw her and zoomed in on her face and her hair. I was just… I couldn't believe it."
“When I saw the one that looks just like my daughter, I clicked on it, and when I saw the face, the poses — I was just, I couldn't stop. I started crying. I was just completely in shock and angry," she said.

Terri’s daughter Kat does a small amount of modelling work and Terri believes that the manufacturers of the doll must have used one of the photos she had posted on Facebook as a reference
"This image had the same socks as my daughter and the same pose as my daughter on our sofa at home", she added.
“She had that same sweatshirt and facial features as that image, even the same stuffed animal!”
“I couldn't imagine that some sicko would use my daughter's photo to create something so ugly and evil to be used for abuse by paedophiles,” she added.
Terri says Amazon started selling the doll in November 2019. She applied to the company for the item to be removed from sale, and they complied almost immediately.
An Amazon spokesperson said in a statement: “All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. This product has been removed.”
However, the doll is still available on some other specialist websites – some of which even show the item unclothed and even in some cases with “instructional” videos.

“And some of these websites have her completely naked and they have a video of people trying to explain how this child sex doll works," Terri said.
But she’s not just angry with the people selling the item, but the buyers too.
Terri fumed: "I can't sleep sometimes because that's all I can think about, men who have sex with those dolls … I just want to burn them.
"They should be charged as sex offenders. They should be fined. And these websites need to be shut down."
The Child Rescue Coalition’s Carly Yoost told NBC Miami: “This is a real child who's been affected, this isn't a hypothetical doll that was created.”
She added: “The more a predator consumes online images and video of children being abused and purchasing of dolls that act out their sexual fantasies, the more likely they're gonna be a hands-on abuser of a real kid.”
Terri has joined forces with the Child Rescue Coalition to launch a petition against the sale of these dolls. "I knew I had to turn this negative into something more positive and make the best situation out of a nightmare,” Terri said.
