A model whose photo was "liked" by an Instagram account representing Pope Francis claims it was a huge boost for business.
Natalia Garibotto says she gained over 600,000 followers after her Instagram feed was " blessed" by the like from Pope Francis' account.
And with her following now over 2.7 million, the 27-year-old Brazilian says she can now command more money than ever before for endorsing products via social media.
The model – who describes herself on Instagram as “the Pope’s favourite” – has shared her thoughts.
She told the New York Post’s Page Six: “I make money off Instagram (and the Pope’s account ‘like’ has given me) more leverage.”
The bikini model added she was “shocked” when she noticed one of her posts had been approved by the account belonging to the Pope – and has changed her outlook on the content she creates.
She said: “(The Pope’s account like) gave me a confidence to post more in clothes and make deals in fashion.”

There is no suggestion it came from the Pope or that he was in any way aware of it.
A Vatican spokesperson said: "We can exclude that the "like" came from the Holy See, and it has turned to Instagram for explanations."
Last week it emerged his account had seemingly ‘liked’ another post by an OnlyFans model, also in November.
There is also no suggestion this "like" came from the Pope himself.
