Meghan Markle shares hope for Lilibet during bimbo chat with Paris Hilton

Meghan Markle has opened up about her aspirations for her young daughter Lilibet in the latest episode of her Archetypes podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex celebrated her second child Lilibet’s first birthday earlier this year, on the same weekend as she and Prince Harry were in the UK celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

Despite releasing a picture of their daughter shortly after her milestone birthday, Meghan and Harry have kept relatively quiet on details about the 16 month-old.

But, after revealing that her son Archie had almost been caught in a fire in the first episode of her Archetypes podcast, Meghan took the opportunity to address her hopes for her daughter’s future in her latest release.

“When I hear the word ‘bimbo’ I have a very negative connotation to it, I don’t see that as an aspirational thing for a woman,” she suggested.

“I want my Lili to want to be educated, and want to be smart and to pride herself on those things.”

The admission came during an episode featuring a conversation with Paris Hilton titled ‘Breaking down The Bimbo’.

During the emotional chat, Meghan looked back on the beginnings of her acting career, which she quit after marrying into the Royal Family in 2018.

Before starring on Suits, the Duchess appeared as a briefcase girl on the US version of Deal or No Deal, and she claimed that she had decided to quit after feeling “objectified” in the role.

Speaking as the ex-royal’s guest, Paris also spoke candidly about her own past. She opened up about the alleged abuse she had faced when she was sent to boarding school by her parents, where she claimed she was forced to strip naked in front of teachers.

Meghan’s reference to Lilibet comes after Harry shared his own update while speaking on a video call for charity.

Despite details remaining scant on the child, Harry admitted that she was “doing great” and “learning to use her voice” when asked about her wellbeing.
