Other reports claim that they’re going their separate ways to focus on their own projects.
However, a friend has adamantly denied the rumours as “untrue”, claiming that they were “literally made up”.
According to The Mirror, the pair recently confirmed they had finally given up their UK home of Frogmore Cottage.
Earlier this month, the couple were seen with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet at a July 4 Independence Day parade near their home in Montecito, California, where Meghan was seen cuddling her two-year-old daughter.
According to body language expert Judi James, although they may not be as tactile as they have been in public previously – some of their rituals are still "alive and well".
She said: "Harry and Meghan have been a walking testimony to marital bliss.
'Humbled' Meghan Markle looks 'brought down a peg' recently, claims photographer
"Their face-gazing looks of mutual adoration and their inability to not touch, hug, stroke or clasp hands with each other for longer than a few moments has always proved that however controversial their comments, their love was an ongoing success story.
"Their two most current appearances together show them snapped on the hoof. The car photos do appear to suggest the hand-holding ritual is still alive and well (although the hands themselves are hidden their arm positioning does suggest the gesture ends in a clasp).
"Her wide smile when she is with Harry looks like a statement, a social gesture to let fans know her life is still happy and perfect, although his expression is a bit more muted.
"On July 4, the couple looks pretty much like any couple with their kids. Meghan is clearly enhancing the experience for Lilibet, even kneeling on one knee in light-coloured trousers as she encourages her daughter to enjoy the parade. This seems to be a group expedition though and Harry is standing, leaning to talk to someone else.
"It's the kind of thing most couples with kids do, it only looks different for Harry and Meghan because we’re used to seeing them in blissful cuddle-bundles rather than even a few feet apart."

King Charles and Prince William set for major public showdown later this year
It comes as royal author and expert Katie said as far as she's concerned Harry and Meghan have always appeared "very close".
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she explained: "My experience with Harry and Meghan – whenever I've been with them as a couple, who are very, very close – [have] a sort of spark between them that always struck me as being very authentic.
"I think it was very notable that in the run-up to the launch of his [Harry's] autobiography, he had all the publicity and Meghan was noticeable by her absence.
"And that was really the first time we've seen a divide between them because up until then they've very much been a partnership, and at this crucial moment where Harry's doing the boldest and possibly bravest thing of his life, she's not there for him
“ And that has continued and led to more rumours of a split, of a split being on the horizon – and yet, there is no evidence. They're presenting a very united front."
