Prince Harry made dig at the Queen and William, say royal watchers

Eagle-eyed royal watchers have hit out at Prince Harry for seemingly taking sly digs at Prince William and The Queen.

Talking to pranksters pretending to be environmental Greta Thunberg and her dad, in a telephone conversation on New Year's Eve and January 22, Harry complained about the restrictions of royal life.

Unbeknown to him, it was actually Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov on the other end of the line.

He spoke about numerous intimate issues, including his decision to quit his royal duties.

Now royal watchers who have read the full transcript, as published on The Sun, believe Harry was pouring scorn of his brother and grandmother.

Taking to Twitter, one social media commentator 'king in the north' @SurvivesThe said: "Wow.. Directly quoting his grandmother The Queen's 'small steps' line of her Christmas message and 'giving out prizes' after his Brother launched The Earthshot Prize…"

"If it makes no difference why give out prizes at the Endeavour Awards/Well, Child Awards/ Invictus Games????"

Another royal commentator Kelly Matthews also picked up on the apparent dig, tweeting: "Prince Harry “small steps or giving out prizes doesn’t make any difference these days” – ouch… tell that to @EarthshotPrize and Prince William @KensingtonRoyal".

Someone else slammed the prince for his lack of respect.

"This is unbelievably irreverent of Harry. I can’t believe it. Horrible! What a brat! Who is he to second-guess the Queen’s message?! He’s lost his mind," said Timmy @RoyalFictions.

Prince Harry,35, told the hoaxers “extreme” was needed to halt global warming.

In an impassioned speech made to Russian pranksters pretending to be the teen campaigner, Harry insisted people needed to be “woken up” and shocked into real change.

The 35-year-old Duke also compared the climate crisis to a frog boiling slowly in hot water.

Addressing the fake Greta and her fake dad, he said: “The world is a troubled place and it can be very easy to give up and I think what you guys are doing is absolutely remarkable.

“Unfortunately the world is being led by some very sick people so the people like yourselves and younger generation are the ones that are going to make all the difference.

“The usual way things have been done over the last how many years has not had the effect that it needs to.

“I think people need to be woken up and the only way to wake people up from what effectively is a consciousness crisis is, I think, you need to be doing extreme things.

"And small steps or giving out prizes doesn’t make any difference these days.

“I think what you need to do is make real big changes that actually shock people, and it’s that shock factor that wakes people up.

“Because at the end of the day we are all the frog that has been put in cold water and brought to a boil without realising.”

Harry also directed his anger on US President Donald Trump, who he went on to say had “blood on his hands” for pushing coal production.
