Prince Harry’s explosive memoir Spare focuses on how the death of his mother traumatised him and sparked a rift between him and the rest of the Royal Family.
But there’s another recurrent theme in the book – the Duke of Sussex’s todger. Throughout the memoir’s 416 pages, Harry repeatedly refers to his penis and its numerous adventures.
One one occasion, he relates how he had to consult a doctor after taking part in a 200-mile Arctic charity walk because he was suffering from frostbite.

Dr. Hana Patel, GP specialist in a number of fields including men's health, told the Daily Star that “the frostbitten body part is usually white, hard, cold and bloodless".
She added: “The skin is rigid and it can be difficult and assess how deep the freezing extends, and in most cases, as there is no sensation of pain, the person may not even know that they are suffering frostbite."
But Harry was acutely aware, and with older brother William’s wedding to Kate Middleton fast approaching, he was very keen to get the issue resolved.
“Pa [King Charles] was very interested, and sympathetic about the discomfort of my frost-nipped ears and cheeks,” he writes. “While the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t. It was becoming more of an issue by the day.”
Royal Family have 'no trust left' in Prince Harry as explosive memoir hits shelves
The prince had already tried applying Elizabeth Arden beauty cream to the affected part, but although the same treatment had worked wonders on his mother’s lips, Harry’s problem wasn’t going away.
He recalls how he was whisked into a doctor’s surgery by the back door to preserve his anonymity.
The doctor, slightly taken aback by the appearance of a royal personage in his consulting room, asked Harry to show him where the problem was.
Harry wrote: “I showed him my todger, softened by Elizabeth Arden. He couldn’t see anything.
“Nothing to see, I explained. It was an invisible scourge."
The prince explained to the baffled medic that while there were no visible signs of frostbite, he was suffering from a very real tenderness in the region.

Learning from that experience, when Harry later visited the South Pole, he made sure to look after his little friend.
“This time,” he writes, “I'd know how to take proper precautions – snugger underwear, more padding, etc.”
And just to be extra safe he added another preventative measure against frostbite: “One very close mate hired a seamstress to make me a bespoke c**k cushion.
"Square, supportive, it was sewn from pieces of the softest fleece and . . . enough said."
Not quite enough said, it turns out, because Harry also goes into some detail about whether he and his brother were circumcised.
“My penis was a matter of public record, and indeed some public curiosity,” he says. “The press had written about it extensively. There were countless stories in books, and papers – even The New York Times – about Willy and me not being circumcised.
“Mummy [Princess Diana] had forbidden it, they all said, and while it’s absolutely true that the chance of getting penile frostbite is much greater if you’re not circumcised, all the stories were false. I was snipped as a baby.”

And of course, the royal penis’s greatest adventure so far is the notorious incident which reputedly took place behind the picturesque 17th Century Rattlebone Inn in Wiltshire.
Describing his first sexual experience, Harry writes: Describing the hurried coupling, he goes on: "Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze."
"One of my many mistakes was letting it happen in a field, just behind a very busy pub. No doubt someone had seen us.".
Thankfully, Harry’s youthful indiscretion remained secret. Until now, that is.
