The Queen could have dinner with senior royals and a phone call with Prince Harry to mark what would have been Prince Philip’s 100th birthday, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke of Edinburghpassed away aged 99 on April 9, and family members gathered to pay their respects at Windsor Castle later that month.
Philip would have turned 100 on Thursday, June 10.
It is likely to be an emotional day for Her Majesty, who courageously returned to royal duties just days after Philip’s death.
Brittani Barger, Deputy Editor of Royal Central, a US website focused on news about the monarchy, told the Daily Star: “What would have been Prince Philip's 100th birthday will be a sad day for Her Majesty.
“He was her strength and stay so marking the day will be hard.
“She may have dinner with some of her children as a way of honoring him. She may also privately visit his grave to lay flowers.”
Harry was reunited with other members of the Royal Family for the first time since Megxit at Philip’s funeral, after which he was interred at St George's Chapel Royal Vault.
The Duke of Sussex was even spotted chatting with Prince William and Kate Middleton after the service.

However, Philip's birthday is unlikely to bridge the divide between the estranged brothers.
Ms Barger continued: “I don't know that Philip's 100th will do anything to unite the family.
“They will all mourn him in their own ways. With Harry being in the US, he may call his grandmother to check in on her as I'm sure he is worried about her marking the day as any grandson would be.

“I think each family member will do what they think is right to honour Philip and help the Queen.”
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards previously said that Philip was the Queen's last true confidante.
He told Good Morning Britain: “There’s no one actually to totally confide in anymore.”
Along with Philip’s death, the Queen has also had to contend with the ongoing ramifications of Megxit.
