A plane crash in Russia has killed all 28 people, including one child, on board, officials have confirmed

All 22 passengers, including a seven-year-old, and six crew members aboard the Antonov An-26 twin-engined propellor aircraft died in the tragedy.

The plane, which was reported missing earlier today, was found in the Kamchatka peninsula, in Russia's far east.

It is thought the 39-year-old turboprop aircraft crashed into mountains in the region.
