The yellow warning has been put in place by the Met Office ahead of the Christmas weekend.
The warning is current in place for the 23rd and 24th of this month.
The Met Office has given guidance on what to expect during the warning being in place.
It says: “Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.”
