“Very critical” long-range missiles given by Britain to Ukraine have been used to blitz Russian bases and ammunition stores.
Ukraine’s deputy defence minister Volodymyr Havrylov said: “We are able to stop the advance of Russia in the East.
“We’ve stopped them in the South. Most importantly, they now have no resources and no guts to advance.
“The contribution of Great Britain in supporting Ukraine has been crucial and very critical.”
Since the war broke out, the UK Government has given Ukraine a trio of M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems, 9,000 anti-tank missiles, and hundreds of anti-air and anti-ship missiles, light tanks and armoured vehicles.
