The 46th US President, inaugurated on Wednesday, will earn a whopping $400,000 per year. This equates to £292,000. Mr Johnson earns £150,000 for his role as Prime Minister. Before taking on the prestigious duty of leading the UK, Mr Johnson earned £275,000 for writing a monthly newspaper column alongside his MP salary.
Mr Biden’s road to wealth began in Delaware almost 50 years ago when he was first elected to the senate at the tender age of 29.
His salary at that time was $42,500 a year, which equates to roughly £31,000.
His earnings would later rise to $230,700 (£169,000) during his term as Vice President to Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017.
Both Mr Johnson and Mr Biden have also written books from which they have earned considerable sums.

Mr Johnson’s Sir Winston Churchill biography ‘The Churchill Factor: How One Man Made History’ is one of his most notable, released in 2014.
Mr Biden released his memoir Promises to Keep in 2008.
President Biden and Mr Johnson’s relationship as leaders is in its early stages.
They spoke over the phone when Mr Biden’s election victory was confirmed, with Mr Johnson offering congratulations as his counterpart sought assurances over the Good Friday Agreement.
Speaking to Sky News following his inauguration, the onlooking Prime Minister said: “Obviously it’s the job of all UK Prime Ministers that have a close working relationship with the president of the United States and actually, when you look at what unites me and Joe Biden, there is a fantastic joint united agenda.
“It’s a fantastic thing for America, for a country that’s been through a bumpy period and for us and America, it’s a big moment, we’ve got things we want to do together; we’ve got to bounce back from Covid together.”
Mr Johnson was also asked if he believed Mr Biden was “woke”, to which he replied: “I can’t comment on that.

“What I know is that he’s a firm believer in the transatlantic alliance and that’s a great thing.”
Speaking after taking the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts, President Biden said: “Democracy has prevailed.”
He also described the day as one of “history and hope”, adding: “My whole soul is in putting America back together again.”
